Shawna Nelsen-Wills

Shawna is the Advancement Director of Emma Norton Services, a Saint Paul nonprofit organization with a mission to provide transformational housing and growth for women and families on their journey to recovery. 

Shawna has 20+ years of experience working in development and fundraising for nonprofit organizations, including The Women’s Foundation of Minnesota and The Family Housing Fund in Minneapolis. She also taught english in Japan and served for a year through the Lutheran Volunteer Corps at a hunger organization in Baltimore, MD. 

Shawna has a B.A. in English and Political Science from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and a Master’s of Journalism from Boston University. When Shawna is not working to advance the mission of Emma Norton Services, she is spending time with her family, playing basketball, traveling, or sitting down to enjoy a good book.
